Found a Cane Toad in the garden even though my best attempts to keep them out of the yard and away from mum's dogs after a brown snake bit one of them, most of the house cleaning has been done and looks neat and tidy.

 It has been sun out all week and the soil has become dry apart from under the house. I have spent most of the week sorting stuff to take to the charity bins and to go to the recycling and refuse centre. Hopefully some of it will be useful to someone, unfortunately I left my name tag on a crab pot I gave away, hopefully they take it off before they use it 😟 a video I took in Saint Vinnies donation sorting room some time ago at work for the dole.

 

 It has been a good week without rain and the ground is still on the wet side, I think I pulled a back muscle lifting buckets of water from the extra rain I collected. It has mostly been an average week making a start on cleaning up the shed, there is a thin layer of dirt built up, so doing a spring clean of what isn't really needed in there. Not a lot else much has happened. 

It poured a deluge the last three days and there has been major flooding all over Brisbane, I felled up an inflatable pool and as many buckets as I could with rainwater. A corner of the backyard flooded and there was about an inch of water above the concrete in the shed, it would not drain but that is because it was being blocked by the neighbouring properties. The last week has been the usual pottering about we luckily got the grocery shopping done before we were flooded in, although we've run out of bread cause i ate it all as a midnight snack.

 There goes another week, KFC and Dominoes again, New season of Disenchantment my fav character is definitely Bean, Did some chores around the yard, build up in a gutter, raised garden post was eaten up by white ants and the panel was falling off, got some touch-up paint for the car to hide some bad scratches, sprayed some clear gloss over the letterbox which had been weathered back really badly. Took doggos to the offlead park for a good run around and have seen a Blue-faced honeyeater around the birdbath. The vacuum cleaner gave up the ghost just before the hard rubbish men showed up in the street. I got a free gift sub for Layna Lazar on twitch so yay for me, if only I won that 80 million Powerball "sigh"

 Got some Dominoes and KFC this week, I really love the toasted cheesy crust. MTGA released a new set Kamigawa, I bought 50 packs or so with my free coins. Paid visit the Kholo Botanic Gardens with mum it was nice and green and the water from the campervan fridge was nice and cold after our hike around the place. 

 It has been a usual week of pottering about, I got my booster shot and all it gave me was a dead arm, the internet still acting up by dropping out. I keep ho humming about solo making a game. There was a good downpour that soaked the ground really well, I started watching Boruto again.

Mum had an appointment with the surgeon who performed her cancer surgery today, so it was a trip into Brisbane it was a really hot day and will be again tomorrow, on the way back we stopped in at Mt Ommaney Center for some lunch and some window shopping. We had KFC for dinner and watched Space Jam which was hilarious.

 Just an average day, made french toast with cheese, tomato, mushrooms and capsicum. listened to the radio and potted about most of the day, fish fingers and veg for dinner getting an early night.

 Went for a splash it had been quite a while since I had been to the pool for a dip, I then went to the shops for a few things the bank was shut on an open day which was annoying, It had also been a while since I went for a massage so I tried another place, they were just right with the amount of pressure but I felt they were not consistent. I had leftover pizza for lunch and went for a nap. woke in time for dinner spag bol and an episode of BobaFet.

Scrambled eggs on toast with avocado, then potted about the house getting ready to leave to do the groceries, Coles, Aldi, Bunnings and Spotlight, during my time at Aldi my car alarm went off not sure what set it but it is an aftermarket one with glass break sensor.

 It was lunch when I got home which was chicken, asparagus, four beans and I forget what else was there on my plate, I took a nap for a few hours after and had some matcha tea and potted about again until dinner.

Ordered some pizza and watched some Netflix etc, the GPS tracking did not work for the delivery so was left wondering when it will get here, got some game dailies done afterwards. now time for bed.

Coffee with sausages and egg with fried tomato for breakfast, mum went out so I put on the radio did some pottering about and paid some bills, then had leftover KFC with salad for lunch, threw some stuff in the wash. 

potted about some more until dinner which was a bowl of warm chilli prawns with toast, watched Vikings followed by Orville getting an early night

Australia Day today, forgot to plug the campervan back in and found the battery flat oops, not sure how good the battery is it is just the fridge running and it is 120ah, mum made scrambled eggs on toast in which I scoffed down in seconds.

I had a dream where there were waves lapping up crashing against the old Mornington Flats on Broadbent Terrace in Whyalla, the level of water was to the first step of the building. i was inside the flat i lived in looking out the lounge room window, it was eerily overcast, I left the building and met up with others, we then went up over the lookout by now it became dark and proceeded down Elliot Street a bit until I woke up.

Organised the bbq piled in some paper, twigs and sticks ready to light it up, Then just potted about the house and got the lamb and chicken ready for roasting, rubbed parsley flakes with minced garlic and ground pepper in olive oil all over the meats, I put in the heat beads and lit her up, tended to the bbq until the meat and veg was roast ready,

Watched the Man of Steel movie and ate lunch with a glass of cider after, it started raining and the garden got a good soaking hopefully the rain keeps up on it. Had a few drinks of white rum and some absinthe with mango nectar hopefully it won't cost me tomorrow morning.

Morning coffee, a neighbour is out with the whipper snipper at 7:40am quickly had some cereal and mowed the front lawn on the curb.

The delivery guy arrived with the new hot water system and so did the tradesman not long after, all installed in a few hours. Printed out some documents and got some stuff organized.

Fish fingers, chips and Brussel Sprouts for lunch, then got ready to take mum to her doctor appointment which was a discussion about chemotherapy, the doctor said that there was 70% chance of her survival of her without chemo and that chemo would only improve her chances by 3 to 5%, so she opted not to take chemotherapy. The only viable chemotherapy is $8000 a month and would cost a total of 140k :(

The water is hot again, went and got some KFC for dinner and put on The Eternals with disney+, I nodded off during the movie not cause of the movie or anything just suddenly passing out being drowsy or w/e.  Nice big rain cloud heading our way on the radar behind Toowoomba hopefully we will get some later
tonight.

Had some morning coffee while browsing the feeds and a game of Magic the Gathering, mum is making me breakfast, porridge, canned spaghetti, egg, bacon, fried tomato and a glass of veggie juice.

Chased up some quotes and appointments for a new gas hot water system while mum went to the shops. Mowed the grass and potted about the house and browsed some more plumbers. I got a sexy match on Tinder unfortunately they are like 13000 km away. The internet continues to drop out and be annoying. Had some lunch and then passed out for a 2-hour nap.

Prepared some documents before dinner which was pork chops and some salad, doing my MTGA dailies with some choc milk, ta ta for now.

Had coffee before I made breakfast while I browse the feeds, French toast, cheese, bacon with fried tomato and mushrooms, followed by a cup of green tea and a game of Magic the Gathering Arena. After I took the campervan for a spin to cash in on recyclables for some grocery shopping for Australia day, going to roast some lamb and chicken in the bbq. I found my toilet paper at the IGA surprised I was.

Went for a nap when I got home, had cheese and tomato toasties for lunch at 2pm, then did some pottering about the house, logged into Elder Scrolls Online for the first time in ages and had to respec my character. Fish n chips with veggies for dinner.

Well, today I return to blogger it got a cleanup.

Had eggs on toast with coffee and a smoothie.

Mum found the hot water system leaking so i called a plumbing service to come take a look this was about 9:30am, they gave a window of 11pm to 2pm, they arrived right on 2pm and came to the conclusion the 21-year-old unit needs replacing so no hot water for the time being. 

I blew out the driveway while the cars were out with the blower and put on some techno anthems, did chores and stuff while waiting for a Plummer to show up, 

The internet continues to be annoying and drop connection today but at least it was not as terrible as yesterday as it was at the point of being unusable. I did some browsing and swiping and stuff. Looking to jump over to 5g home internet.

I had leftover pizza for lunch and spent the afternoon looking at hot water systems and had a two-hour nap until dinner which was boiled veggies and pork the apple sauce smelt off so i did not eat it, mum told me she had already eaten hers, she didn't notice anything wrong with it! 

I played Magic the Gathering Arena to clear some dailies, 750 coins for red and blue spells. i rage quit two board wipe games and two gain life spew. 

I'm off to bed now I've finished on blogger. 

Also had some chips and lollies during the day.
